Rock Paper Scissors isn't just a fun way to determine who rides shotgun, its the new album by Guelph Ontario underground Hip Hop veteran Noah23. After releasing 2004's Jupiter Sajitarius strictly in Europe and a slew of side projects in the last few years including the Clout, The Fool, Famous Playaz, Weird Apples, Bourgeois Cyborgs, and two Crunk23 albums, the Guelph Ontario native is set to unleash his swan song.

The dazzling artwork was done by indie rap cover darling Albane of Paris France who is not the only international contribution. Rock Paper Scissors is an album of duets featuring artists from France, Germany, Hawaii, Canada and more.

Guests include Cadence Weapon, Josh Martinez, Athena, Baracuda, Ceschi Ramos (Toca), Modulok (Red Ants), Delectable, Staple Mouth, Bleubird, and many more.

With production from Factor, Giovanni Marks (Subtitle), Small is Beautiful (formerly the drummer in the Unicorns & Islands), MadadaM, Fresh Kils, Debmaster ect.

Noah23 has fleshed out an immensely ambitious project into a collection of sweet and simple hits. This will be one of the most original as well as defining independent Hip Hop records made in recent years. Not short on diversity, R.P.S. takes us through the usual boombap terrain with a healthy dose of swagger and metaphysical lyrics, also touching on the sounds of electro, jungle, rock & pop. The loose theme is childhood games and nostalgia but topics such as ecological disaster and relationship woes find their place among lighthearted and comical tracks. The vibe dips to the dark end of the spectrum at points and achieves an overall balance of styles.
